These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Streamline, a Windows desktop application developed by Dakota Labs LLC ("Dakota Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using Streamline, you agree to these Terms.
Streamline is a local desktop tool. It runs on your machine, talks to your OBS instance, and does not phone home.
Streamline is a companion tool for OBS Studio that enables continuous streaming. It monitors your webcam feed locally to detect your presence and automatically manages OBS scenes and streaming state. All processing happens on your local machine.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Streamline on your personal computer for its intended purpose. This license does not include the right to:
Streamline requires OBS Studio with the WebSocket plugin enabled. You are responsible for configuring OBS and your streaming setup. Streamline is not affiliated with or endorsed by the OBS Project.
Streamline requires access to your webcam to detect your presence. By using Streamline, you consent to this local access. Your webcam feed is processed in real-time on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted by Streamline.
Streamline is a tool to assist with continuous streaming workflows. We do not guarantee uninterrupted streaming, perfect presence detection, or compatibility with all OBS configurations. Streaming reliability depends on your hardware, internet connection, OBS settings, and streaming platform.
Streamline and its source code, design, and documentation are owned by Dakota Labs LLC. You are granted only the usage license described in Section 2. All rights not explicitly granted are reserved.
Streamline is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that Streamline will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all systems or OBS configurations.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dakota Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Streamline, including but not limited to lost streaming revenue, interrupted broadcasts, or data loss.
Since Streamline is provided free of charge, our total liability shall not exceed $0 USD.
This license is effective until terminated. We may terminate your license at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall and destroy all copies of Streamline in your possession.
You may terminate this license at any time by uninstalling Streamline from your computer.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of Streamline after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
