End User License Agreement

Beau is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under the terms of this license agreement.
Your use of Beau on iOS is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA") at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. The Beau Terms of Use govern the underlying service, including care features, subscriptions, and acceptable use.
1. iOS — Apple Standard EULA applies
If you installed Beau from the Apple App Store, your license to the application is the Apple Standard EULA, published by Apple at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. That document is incorporated into this EULA by reference. Among other things, the Apple Standard EULA:
- Grants you a non-transferable license to use Beau on any Apple-branded device you own or control, subject to the App Store Terms of Service.
- Restricts copying, modification, reverse-engineering, and redistribution.
- Provides that Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, that Apple is not responsible for product warranties beyond the App Store refund right, and that Apple is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce the EULA against you.
2. Android — Google Play license terms apply
If you installed Beau from Google Play (slice 2 forward), your license to the application is granted by Dakota Labs subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement that governs all apps distributed through Google Play.
3. The Beau Terms of Use govern the service
This EULA covers the license to install and run the Beau application binary. The broader service — your account, the care features (KB Search, Symptom Triage Wizard, Weight Trend Explainer, Find-a-Vet), Beau Plus subscriptions, acceptable use, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — is governed by the Beau Terms of Use. The Terms of Use control in the event of a conflict between this EULA and the Terms of Use, except where the Apple Standard EULA or Google Play terms apply by their own force.
4. Privacy
Information collected through Beau is handled per the Beau Privacy Policy.
5. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where the Apple Standard EULA or Google Play terms specify otherwise for matters within their scope.
