This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Dakota Labs LLC ("Dakota Labs," "we," "us," or "our") for the use of Beau (the "Licensed Application"), an iOS application available through the Apple App Store.
By downloading, installing, or using Beau, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree, do not download or use the application.
Beau is a dog companion iOS application that helps you track and manage your dog's daily life, including profiles, events, and activities. All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData, with optional iCloud sync via CloudKit.
Dakota Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Beau on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service. This license does not allow you to use Beau on any device you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make Beau available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time.

Beau, including its interface design, graphics, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Dakota Labs LLC. This EULA does not grant you any ownership rights. All rights not explicitly granted are reserved by Dakota Labs.
All dog profiles, event logs, and other data you create in Beau are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is also stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. Dakota Labs does not have access to your iCloud data. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data.
This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the application and delete all copies from your devices.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the application at any time for violation of this EULA. You may terminate this license at any time by deleting Beau from your devices.
Beau is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Beau is a companion tool, not a substitute for professional veterinary care. Information tracked in the app should not replace the advice of a qualified veterinarian.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dakota Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Beau, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the application in the 12 months preceding the claim.
This EULA is between you and Dakota Labs only, not Apple. However, you acknowledge that:
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update this EULA from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Beau after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated EULA.
